母屋（旧 民宿）Main House
旧民宿 こもれび笹島邸 Former guesthouse Komorebi Sasajima-tei
2008年、名古屋から約33年ぶりに故郷に戻り、この大きな古民家の一部を改装して民宿を営みました。観光地でもない単なる農村なのに多くのお客様にお越しいただきました。ただ個人的な事情により2011年に営業を辞めました。
In 2008, I returned to my hometown after 33 years from Nagoya, renovated part of this big old house and started a guesthouse. Although it was just a farming village and not a tourist destination, many customers came. However, I closed the business in 2011 due to personal reasons.
大型古民家 Large old house
昭和11年（1936年）築 昭和40年（1965年）増築 木造2階建290,89㎡ 平成21年（2009年）1階及び外装を改装
Built in 1936, extended in 1965, wooden two-story structure, 290.89 m2, first floor and exterior renovated in 2009

大きな樹木はそのままで、玄関前まで白砂利を敷き詰めました。
The house is surrounded by large trees.
外壁や建具は漆色・墨・漆喰で塗装、柱の模様は浮き上がらせました。
The exterior walls and fixtures were painted with lacquer, ink and plaster, and the patterns on the pillars were made to stand out.
座敷は改修なしで、そのまま客間として使用しました。
The tatami room was used as a guest room without any renovations.
襖で仕切られた10畳と8畳が2間ずつの4部屋。11組の布団を用意しました。
There are four guest rooms, two of which are 10 tatami mat rooms and two of which are 8 tatami mat rooms, separated by sliding doors.
軒先きをはじめ至るところに昭和大工職人の技が残っていたので、塗装で浮き上がらせました。
The skills of Showa era carpenters were still visible everywhere, including in the eaves, so we brought them out with paint.
レトロな玄関外灯（昭和すりガラス＋銀メッキ金具）、気に入っています。

屋敷内は当時も大きな樹木の森状態、まさにこもれびの中の宿でした。
Even back then, the mansion was like a forest of large trees, so the inn was truly surrounded by sunlight filtering through the trees.
屋敷から望む100名山「荒島岳」、この登山客がほとんどで山には感謝です。

内部は大幅に改修 The first floor has been extensively renovated
8畳2間を板床に張り替え1空間に、壁は漆喰にしました。昭和のガラス戸や板戸はそのまま利用しました。
The two 8 tatami mat rooms were converted into one space with wooden flooring and the walls were plastered. The glass and wooden doors from the Showa era were left as they were.
納屋に眠っていたケヤキ材を飲食カウンターに加工、古い茶箪笥などはそのまま食器棚にしました。
Zelkova wood that had been stored in the barn was converted into a dining counter, and old tea cabinets and other items were turned into cupboards.
煙突を設けて薪ストーブを設置しました。現在はストーブはありません、煙突はすぐに設置できます。
I installed a chimney and a wood stove. Currently there is no stove, but the chimney can be installed immediately.
当時、木の風呂用品のネット通販を運営していましたので、風呂浴槽はヒノキ、その他はサワラ材にしました。現在は風呂浴槽は取り払ってあります。
The bathtub is made of cypress and the rest of the building is made of sawara wood. There is no bathtub at present.
餅つきの臼をテーブルに、土壁は取り払い庭が望めるようにオープン扉にしました。
A rice cake pounding mortar is used as a table, and the earthen wall has been removed to create an open door so that the garden can be viewed.
鯖の丸焼きをはじめ、地元の田舎料理をでおもてなししました。
I treated my guests to local country dishes, including whole roasted mackerel.
イベント Events
地域活性事業も行なっていた関係上、また私も音楽を中心とするエンターテイメント関連の仕事を行なっていましたので、イベントも何度か開催しました。
I worked in local revitalization projects and in the entertainment industry, mainly music, so I hosted several events.
時々、座敷ではライブをやりました。
Occasionally, I held music events in the tatami room.
